Job description

We are currently looking for a Mobile App Product Manager to join the Department for Health and Social Care on an initial 6-month contract. The role of the Product Manager is to make a difference to design and deliver the app as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will:

  • Identify and develop product principles, practices and processes
  • Coordinate product development with other teams to minimise risk and manage dependencies
  • Develop expert understanding of users' needs
  • Lead one or more sub teams to deliver products and product improvements
  • Engage with users and stakeholders through a range of channels to encourage awareness and use of the product

 

You will have

  • Strong understanding of technical architecture of mobile applications (Android, iOS) and a strong design background
  • Experience of leading in complex, fast changing and highly regulated environments
  • Excellent analytical skills, specifically qualitative customer insight and quantitative customer data
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong stakeholder management skills

It would be advantageous for you to have:

  • Previous Health Technology experience
