Project Engineer (Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 3 – 12 Months

Contracting Authority: Network Rail

Location: Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Reading, Swindon, York

We are currently creating a pipeline for Project Engineers for future anticipated hiring needs with Network Rail

Enclosed below is a basic overview of the responsibilities and skills required: -

 

As a Project Engineer, your main responsibilities would be: 

  • Implementing Network Rail systems and procedures to deliver a cost effective, high quality and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities on relevant projects
  • Managing all engineering activities ensuring they are affordable, efficient and meet programme requirements
  • Undertake reviews of design and construction activities. Arrange audits of contractors monitoring safety, environment and quality of design

You’ll have relevant experience in:

  • The Rail Sector
  • Projects related to one or more of the following: Building & Civil; OLE; Signalling; Telecoms; Track
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer
