As a Project Support Officer your main responsibilities will be: 

• Assist the Lead PMO in reporting, programming, and administering of the overall programme deliverables.
• Act as the Project PMO for the Asset Validation exercise
• Administration of the surveying programme acting as the client
• Pre-Survey activities, developing file structure and document control, collating, and disseminating required schedules, contact lists and general contract admin activities.
• Manage processes such as information dissemination, gathering, coordination and administration.
• Analysing and reporting on programme information as provided by the TFM.

• Produce Management reports on:
• Overall progress and health of projects
• Status of milestones and deliverables across the projects
• Project risks and progress on mitigating these risks.
• Operational efficiency and project performance
• Report on and manage asset management risk register.

• Support the PMO Lead in the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy for the new TFM contract.
• Disseminate / produce / distribute the reports as required by DWP colleagues and as provided by the TFM to appropriate persons as programme.
• Management, production, and amendments as required to processes & process maps for all activities.
• Manage and control the meeting cadence requirements as defined by the WPS protocol documents.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the PMO Lead or Asset Strategy Manager.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Experienced in PMO function.
• Understanding of Asset Management principles and practises.
• Knowledge and experience in programming of projects and reporting at senior level.
• Track record of working in a project delivery field.
• Experience in data analytics, interpretation of data and reporting anomalies, trends, improvements etc.
• Experience in report writing.
• Experience in MS applications such as MS Project, Visio, excel.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent organisational skills and time management, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Aptitude to identify issues, propose solutions and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
