We are currently creating a pipeline for Digital Services Identity Technical Lead roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Digital Services Identity Technical Lead, you will: 

• Responsible for the creation and implementation of the end to end technical design and ensuring alignment to the strategic technical architecture
• Work with delivery teams and partners to break technical requirements down into appropriate packages
• Work closely with security teams to ensure that security risks are fully identified, and appropriate mitigations are delivered
• Take part in 2nd-line support of the application and platform, including occasional support outside of office hours
• Identify issues within complex problems, clarify stakeholder technical understanding and expectations
• Maintain effective performance in difficult and challenging circumstances, encouraging others to do the same
• Maintain strong working relationships with other TDLs and Architecture Team to ensure consistency and coherence across projects and practices
• Establish and drive intra and inter team discussions to learn from experience and adapt organisational processes and plans

You’ll have:

• Experience in a technical lead role
• Experience organising and performing prototyping and proof of concepts
• Experience with Agile methodologies (TDD, Kanban, XP)
• Experience in trunk based development and continuous deployment
• Experience using and deploying on Cloud based platforms, e.g. AWS
• Experience in DevOps – this team support their own infrastructure code
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems
• Full stack knowledge – Java, Clojure, MongoDB, Elastic Search, SQS, RabbitMQ, and HTML5
