The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has been set up to provide health security for the nation by protecting from infectious disease and external hazards. It will need to take action like no other organisation previously in order to mitigate threats to health before they materialise. UKHSA will be a trusted source of advice to government and to the public.

As a Change & Engagement Lead your main responsibilities will be: 

• We are looking for a Transformation & Change Lead with a flair for change management to support the delivery of transformation projects within the Agency.
• We are looking for someone who can work with multiple stakeholders and senior leaders to support delivery of the strategic priorities of the Organisation Design and Development (ODD) Directorate and the integrated Transformation Programme. The successful candidate will work to the Transformation Change Manager, whilst supporting other functions of the ODD Directorate to successfully deliver agency wide change projects.
• We are looking for someone with the confidence and ability to work across different teams to create a strong, people focused culture and deliver the transformation of core capabilities.
• Implement and champion best practice models in Change, Programme and Project Management
• Lead and facilitate change management workshops to support the Agency implement transformation programmes, improve internal processes and seek ways to continuously improve services.
• Persuade and influence team leaders and Senior Leaders to buy into changes required in the Agency which help achieve the vision, mission and UKSA values.
• Provide cross directorate support for change projects and engagements.

You’ll have:

• Experience of change, transformation or programme management
• Experience of communications and stakeholder engagement to deliver outcomes
• Experience of working on a complex programme
• Experience of working across organisational boundaries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive the needs of Transformation across the Agency.
• Change management experience in project management and organisational settings.
• Providing expertise on change approaches and continuous improvement techniques. 
• Leading and implement Agency changes across teams and agency in line with key responsibilities.
• Adherence to governance processes in preparing reports and dashboards for project and programme management and for reporting to UK Space Agency executive level.
• Come from a human resource or customer service background with Public Sector

Desirable:

• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. APM Change Management certification, APMQ, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile)
