Data Quality Manager (Inside IR35)

The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. As a Data Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will be: 

• To work with the Head of team and wider DS&S in support of data governance, leadership and capability, across government.
• To Lead work with pilot departments to test the data quality guidance and training materials, as it develops, to ensure it is fit for purpose.
• To play a key role, working with the ONS Data Quality Hub and the Data Quality Community, in plans to embed a culture of good data quality management across government.
• To ensure learnings from feedback are incorporated in a timely way, resulting in a robust package of implementable materials.
• To support work to develop a package of guidance and training materials to enable the adoption of data quality action plans across government.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Previous public sector experience
• Previous Data Quality Manager experience.
• A broad understanding of data quality management practices, and a fundamental appreciation for why good data quality management practices are essential.
• Analytical skills and using data to reach sound business decisions including identifying issues and seeking mitigation or solutions.
• Experience leading and taking ownership of complex projects.
• Policy and engagement experience, working in a complex government or corporate environment.
