Change and Release Manager (Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 6 months
Contracting Authority: DfE
Location: Hybrid – Manchester / Sheffield / Coventry / Darlington
Scope of Role
We are looking for someone who can promote change to the business by working with Service Owners to initiate or drive further adoption of the change process. Develop opportunities to embrace an Agile methodology and work with DevOps teams to initiate or drive further adoption of the change process. Assessment of Change risk and impact by working with the change requester and implementer to perform Change Quality checks including Risk Assessment.
Co-ordination and attendance of the twice weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to include the preparation of agendas and the inviting of attendees, work with the Change Management Team to review upcoming changes and manage CAB meetings. Governance and recording of failed changes and unauthorised changes, working with the change requester and implementer to perform RCAs and MIERs. Enforcing the completion of Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and following up any remediation actions.
Ensure the Change Management Process is followed, and changes are recorded, assessed, approved, prioritised, planned, tested, implemented, documented and reviewed, in line with the DfE Change Process.
