We are currently creating a pipeline for Supply & Logistics Shift manager (SEO) roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Supply & Logistics Shift manager (SEO), you will: 

  • Monitor the logistics plan as outlined by the project and planning team
  • Ensure the flow of tests through the network channels to laboratories
  • Proactively manage, investigate and resolve incidents where possible to maintain quality of service
  • Use your judgement to address or escalate as and when required
  • Line Manage an operational team in a 24/7 environment, including health, wellbeing and safety of team members

 

You’ll have:

  • Experience of managing complex transport and logistics operations.   
  • Leadership/management experience of operational teams in a 24/7 environment
  • Proven incident management experience
  • The ability to work across multiple teams including 3PL’s
  • Experience of delivering to KPI’s
  • The ability to establish relationships quickly and effectively
  • A drivers licence and access to vehicle

 

This role will be on site and candidates need to be flexible regarding the working pattern, Continental Shifts (4 days on/4 days off.) Candidates will be expected to work over the Christmas period.

 

Candidates should be available for interview between the 26th-28th October, with the flexibility of an immediate start on 2nd November.

 

Training will be provided over a 2-3 week period, with shift patterns beginning the end of November/ start of December.
