Project Planner - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6 months   

Contracting Authority: Network Rail

Location: London / Remote

We are currently recruiting for a Project Planner on behalf of Network Rail. This role would require you to be in their London office 2-3 days a week (subject to change) with the remainder of work carried out remotely.

As a Project Planner your main responsibilities would be: 

  • Maintaining and documenting appropriate plans and controls for the project/programme in line with the departments Change Lifecycle/Agile delivery methodology

 

  • Reviewing project and supplier documentation and plans to highlight any issues that may compromise delivery

 

  • Facilitating the resolution of project issues and mitigation of project risks

 

  • Producing and maintaining project documentation

 

  • Defining project resources including staff, contractors Assure plans, project controls and progress reports

 

  • Making effective use of the departments Change Lifecycle, MSP Agile standard processes and other required standards

 

 

You’ll have:

 

  • A proven track record of successful delivery in a similar or equivalent role

 

  • Experience in working successfully within large and complex organizations

 

  • Experience of working successfully with staff and representatives from business teams to deliver business change initiatives

 

  • A working knowledge of industry standard methods and tools

 

 

You will also have these Skills:

 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel

 

  • Experience with Primavera
