We are currently creating a pipeline for Finance Business Partner roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Finance Business Partner, you will: 

• Build successful partnerships and maintain relationships with both business leadership and wider stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with the business and other functions to enable the delivery of business plans and objectives. Communicate with impact and provide insight, including financial and wider business implications.
• Support the business to resolve complex problems
• Provide robust data and insight to management teams leading business areas.
• Develop an understanding of the drivers behind key variations and promote a high standard of financial management and compliance
• Provide input into the development of business cases, investment appraisals and proposals identifying and highlighting any potential issues
• Set the direction, empower, motivate and coach team members to enable effective delivery of objectives and support individuals’ personal development

You’ll have:

• Valid and active SC clearance
• A customer service ethos
• The ability to build relationships with senior finance
• Experience of working outside of finance or with colleagues from non-financial areas such as policy, commercial or human resources would also be beneficial
• Sufficient financial management expertise around forecasting, budgeting, reporting, use of finance systems and accounting concepts

It would be great to also have:

• A CCAB accountancy qualification

The role is currently on a working from home basis (laptop/IT kit to be supplied) with occasional office travel for essential meetings.

For one of the roles the team are usually based in Bristol so where rules and personal circumstances allow, occasional travel to MOD Abbeywood, Bristol would support delivery of the duties.
