Are you an SC Cleared Flight Operations Manager? Have you a background in aviation, operations management, crew scheduling and flight planning?

As a Squadron Programmer, you will: 

• Be responsible for constructing and publishing the weekly flying programme whilst adapting this tactically as required to achieve the Squadron’s Flying task
  
  
• Be a focal point between the Engineers, OC Training Flight and OC Mission Support Flight to ensure that aircraft and aircrew are scheduled, that all enablers are booked or coordinated appropriately and that external operational events are factored in
  
  
• Take account of the requirement to schedule aircrew the appropriate number of live and synthetic hours on a weekly basis to ensure that they achieve or maintain currencies in accordance with the Typhoon training syllabus

You’ll have:

• Valid & Active SC Clearance
• A specific experience within Operations Management, Crew Scheduling or Flight Planning
• A military Flight Operations Officer/Manager or Civilian Dispatcher background
• The innate ability to be mentally robust and able to deal with pressure, able to assimilate information quickly, prioritise correctly, produce high quality output, all set against tight deadlines.

It would be great to also have:

• Defence experience
• Knowledge of UK Military Aviation Regulations / Management and recording of flying currencies would be highly advantageous
