An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MOD as a Commercial Manager for 12 months. The main objective of this role is making sure the supply chain’s supported through Covid and EU exit.

As Commercial Manager you will: 

• Make sure the supply chain’s supported through Covid and EU exit.
• Come into the smart team, assist with triage of claims, collate the evidence requires for reconciliation of previous claims
• Work with commercial teams to ensure all evidence and documents are in place for audit
• Make sure the supplier is paid
• Through covid and Eu exit, suppliers have claimed additional costs for welfare, sanitisation, and requested advance payments
• Ensure DIO are receiving the service they have invested in
• Investigating how budgets have been spent and assessing if it was value for money.

You’ll be/ have:

• Public Sector experience preferably within Defence/ MOD
• Compliance and Audit experience, has experience of a national audit above and beyond commercial experience
• Active SC or DV clearance
