Senior Sourcing Specialist (Inside IR35)

Are you a Senior sourcing specialist with experience successfully managing and delivering a range of procurement events of varying value and complexity within an IT environment?  If so we would like to hear from you!

As
Senior Sourcing Specialist you will: 

  • Undertake procurement planning
  • Comply with internal governance
  • Obtain approvals where necessary
  • Be involved in the administration of Conflict of interest and Confidentiality forms (including NDA’s)
  • Apply Security protocols
  • Publish PIN/Contract notice (via Delta if OJEU & Contracts Finder in all cases)
  • Where required, advise and assist with specification development (NB this activity is led by IT Category)
  • Create evaluation questions
  • Create/adapt existing templates for cost models
  • Draft Evaluator Briefing Packs and provide evaluator training
  • Conduct Commercial evaluations
  • Request and analyse Tax Compliance Checks
  • Draft Award Decision Reports and obtain sign off approval)
  • Notify successful and unsuccessful bidders
  • Conduct supplier de-briefs
  • Create savings methodology and report results
  • Draft/populate contract documentation with legal input where appropriate
  • Obtain supplier details to facilitate ERP/Vendor registration
  • Conduct formal contract handover to contract management colleagues
  • Create, maintain and observe associated tasks in SAP Ariba for Sourcing Requests
  • Create RFI and RFP events in SAP Ariba
  • Create, maintain and observe associated tasks in SAP Ariba for Contract Workspaces.

 

You’ll have:

  • MCIPs or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong digital skills across a wide range of platforms
  • Good knowledge of commercial processes and the commercial arena
  • Experience successfully managing and delivering a range of procurement events of varying value and complexity.


It would be great to also have:

  • Experience managing and delivering procurement events compliant with public procurement regulations
  • Experience operating within Central Government / Public Sector
  • Experience of Supply Markets for technology spend categories
