Commercial Risk Manager (Inside IR35)

As a Commercial Risk Manager, you will: 

• Be responsible for the delivery, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the division’s risk management framework
• Be a subject-matter expert for risk management within the division
• Provide effective challenge to risk owners across all levels of the division to ensure risks, controls and actions are being managed appropriately
• Engage with staff at all levels as appropriate to ensure that risk management remains visible, accessible, proportionate and relevant to all those involved in decision-making
• Engage with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to processes
• Provide training, information and education about risk management, tools and techniques to all areas of the division
• Promote awareness of risk management across all areas of the division and third parties as appropriate
• Organise and facilitate risk management groups and forums, providing appropriate scrutiny and challenge and ensuring timely sharing of information
• Assist the first line with the qualitative and quantitative assessment of risks
• Maintain the Commercial Risk Register

You’ll have:

• Significant experience in risk management
• Significant stakeholder management experience
• Thorough understanding of ISO31000 (or similar framework(s))
• Knowledge of a range of risk assessment techniques, and when they could be used
• Status as an experienced Excel and Office user
• A commitment to Continuing Personal Development
