Job description

We are currently searching for Logistics/Distribution professionals that we are recruiting on behalf of the Department for Health and Social Care on a 6-month contract. This role will be remote based initially with the option to work from Leeds or London with a return to BAU.

As a Community Testing Planner/Allocator, you will: 

  • Fulfil the replenishment of products according to requested demand and available supply in warehouses
  • Liaise with the warehouse and control tower to ensure that orders raised are reaching their final destination
  • Engage with the use case leads to understand changing demand signals to plan and allocate accordingly
  • Service ad hoc supply requests or emergency requests
  • Work with product owners to understand and identify potential risks (i.e. dependencies on incoming shipments to fulfil orders)
  • Engage with teams to understand changing demand signals to plan and allocate accordingly

 

You’ll have:

  • Budget responsibility for operation/organisation.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Extensive experience in logistics or distribution operations.
  • Business Skills up to Degree Level
  • Professional Qualification in Transport management or Logistics.
  • Good understanding of IT systems used in Distribution.
