We are currently creating a pipeline for Business Case Manager roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As a Business Case Manager, you will: 

  • Be accountable for the development and delivery of a high-quality Strategic Outline Business Case and Full Business Case for the development of a new Building Safety Regulator
  • Subject matter expert for HM Treasury Green Book for Five Case Business Case guidance, proven track record in cost analysis, financial planning/modelling, procurement (VFM etc)
  • Collaboratively and pro-actively manages business case development through the department's internal governance process and external governance as required
  • Support to the project team with the necessary financial tools and monitoring to ensure that the scope of the case is being delivered within the available funding limits and robust evaluation methodology for business case delivery is in place
  • Develop Business Cases often to tight deadlines, engaging with relevant stakeholders to provide project objectives, benefits, cost analysis, projected time scales and associated risks
  • Ensuring all business case documentation is fully compliant with internal policy and procedures
  • Collaboratively and pro-actively manage business cases through the department's internal governance process and/or external governance if necessary

You’ll have:

  • Valid CTC or higher clearance
  • The ability to write clearly and concisely and adept at communicating complex analytical information according to the needs of the audience-up to Board level
  • Ability to produce commercial strategy, procurement strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop excellent working relationships with internal & external key stakeholders (MHLCG Finance Business Partners, Analysts, Economists, Procurement specialists) to ensure analysis is robust, accurate and financially sound
  • Ability to be a strong team player, able to lead and direct activities to ensure objectives are met
  • A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with a complex environment
