As Senior Financial Systems Analyst you will: 

• Maintain systems configuration in compliance with agreed change processes;
• Investigate trends in issues raised by the business and provide the relevant guidance, procedures and training to users;
• Work as part of the team in achieving agreed service levels and meeting targets and deadlines;
• Provide advice and assistance to staff at all levels on Finance processes and associated polices, via various communication channels;
• Provide financial management information reports and perform scheduled reporting to support both customers within Finance and the business;
• Drive through continued improvement and development of finance processes, taking into account the needs of the department, deploying new functionality where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot finance systems issues, liaising with IT or third-party support to ensure efficient resolution
• Contribute to a variety of other Finance projects and tasks, as required.

You’ll have:

• Detailed knowledge of Oracle fusion financials; specifically, AR / AP / Projects / Fixed Assets
• Detailed knowledge of fusion system configuration
• Experience of process and systems analysis and design/re-design in fusion – identifying, developing and testing innovative solutions using fusion functionality to address resource hungry process bottlenecks
• Familiarity with fusion quarterly update processes
• The ability to gather requirements and design/document process documentation to streamline operations
• Working knowledge of security roles access
• Experience of at least one end to end implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials
• The ability to communicate complex technical information to non technical staff
• Strong stakeholder management skills

It would be great to also have:

• Interface development experience– ex and in system
• Experience report writing in Oracle fusion
• Experience using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology to free resource and improve quality into repetitive manual processes
• Training delivery experience
• Writing process guidance/instructions for end users experience
• Public sector/government experience
