We are currently creating a pipeline for Digital Developer roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks/months.

As Digital Developer, you will: 

• Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users' needs
• Provide input into the design of solutions and lead the development of new IT solutions and initiatives
• Implement APIs for internal and external use
• Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment
• Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers
• Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms

You’ll have:

• Expertise in node.js with a commitment to writing clean code and comprehensive, clear tests
• Experience of search engines (Elasticsearch), optimising search queries. OR Experience of Graph databases (Neo4J), optimising graph queries
• Expertise in front end development (single page JavaScript applications using typescript with REACT), with demonstratable experience of meeting WCAG AA Accessibility standards
• Experience with Enterprise Big Data applications
• Experience with DevOps environments/Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Drone)
