We are currently creating a pipeline for Business Analyst roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As a Business Analyst, you will: 

  • Assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities
  • Take responsibility as needed for the detailed specification and modelling of recommended solutions
  • Present and justify conclusions from analysis to project colleagues and wider stakeholders
  • Gather, analyse and manage requirements; Perform feasibility studies and Impact Assessments
  • Define and manage benefits, define and agree benefits measures and Management Information
  • Effectively engage with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to support transition and Exit planning
  • Work with business change owners to gather, develop and document maps and requirements
  • Apply available standards, methods and tools in an intelligent and effective way and produce a consistently high standard of documentation
  • Cross-check various model elements for inconsistencies and incompleteness e.g. finite state models against use case models, class diagrams against business rules, case post conditions against class diagrams

You’ll have:

  • Valid and active SC clearance
  • Experience in engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential data sources and to ensure alignment with other programmes and existing analysis
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets using MS Access and Excel
  • Knowledge and experience of using business analysis processes, methods, techniques and tools – i.e. BCS Business architecture, TOGAF (or equivalents)
  • Proven successful track record in the delivery within complex projects
  • Experience of working in a transformation programme and delivering change activity
  • Experience of working with complex stakeholder relationships across organisational boundaries and delivering through others: the role will involve working with virtual teams
