We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a Government Organisation.
Role Background:
Specifically, The PM will be asked to work on 2 projects at 0.5 FTE for each project:
1. Develop, procure and roll out new flooding mapping & modelling framework for start April 2022
2. Manage the ongoing Liquid Fuels operational tasks.
Flood mapping and modelling:
This project is focused not on modelling but on setting up a contract framework for the mapping and modelling framework – so contract management skills would be useful. if the individual has an understanding of flood modelling and mapping, or knowledge of EA procurement process that would be a bonus.
Liquid Fuels Project:
Tasks are related to maintaining contractual compliance on the programme, these include but are not limited to;
Circulating fuel pricing, adding new sites to framework, and monitoring the on-hold lists, resolve overdue invoices, Central point of contact for both depots and fuel suppliers, Flag operational risks to management team, Direct strategic or framework matters to Defra Commercial.
