We are currently creating a pipeline for Finance Co-ordinator roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Finance Co-ordinator, you will: 

• Provide support and guidance to DPS ISG QRPC and Finance Planning for the Programme Board and Programme Executive
• Ensure coherence between DPS ISG Project Staff and DPS ISG Finance Staff and acting as the technical interface between the two
• Provide a technical perspective of the ISG project level finance information and reporting to support the Programme Manager through the use and exploitation of Power BI
• Provide guidance to project managers on production of commitments cases and RFA130 to secure approval to spend
• Maintain a register of RFA130 and commitment cases tracking the spend against Approvals, Projects and UINs
• Review the cost basis of ARM risks and ensure coherence with higher reporting
• Develop improvement plans to support the maturing of ISG project level finance planning including the use of CP&F for receipting

You’ll have:

• Valid and active SC Clearance
• Sole UK Nationality
• The ability to establish a productive working relationship with Defence Digital Finance, Defence Digital Commercial and UK Strategic Command Cap Staff
• High proficiency with MS Excel
• Understanding of MOD Finance including
  a.PCR
  b.PMRS
  c.Monthly FOO reporting

It would be great to also have:

• Experience with whole life cost models
