  • Be expected to produce evidence and work with the case management team to build a case file for the Crown Prosecution Service detailing all relevant evidence
  • Be expected to understand Disclosure obligations and identify any material that undermines the case or may assist the defence
  • Understand your responsibility to approach the review of material fairly and act to bring material to the attention of a Disclosure Officer where necessary

You’ll have:

  • Experience of investigating or leading criminal investigations in the criminal, civil, regulatory or food environments including the identification and production of exhibits, evidence and drafting of witness statements
  • Experience and knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and The Fraud Act 2006
  • Experience and knowledge of Disclosure obligations under The Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996
  • Computer literacy with experience of using of Word Office suite applications
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads and make reasoned and justifiable decisions.
  • Requirement to work closely within a team with minimal supervision

It would be great to also have:

  • A knowledge of the NUIX platform and CLUE Case Handling System
