We are currently creating a pipeline for Senior Commercial Manager roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Senior Commercial Manager, you will: 

• Establish stakeholder requirements, drafting and POC for Business Cases approvals, drafting and executing contract, managing contracts (including variations), amendments, performance and SLAs
• Provide end to end management and assurance of the approval process until completion of Business Case and Contract. Main commercial POC for negotiating with Suppliers and engagement with senior stakeholders (business, legal and finance) to align VFM principals
• Establish framework for contract management of suppliers - engaging with logistics, operations and supplies team, preparing and submitting requisitions for PO's and Payments and follow through until payment and serving as a single point of contract for contractual matters
• Manage record keeping for all contracted – related correspondence and documentation and provide the necessary support for audits
• Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate Identifying and following through of contract management improvements - value for money, efficiency and effectiveness and internal and external contract-related issue resolution 
• Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution 

You’ll have:

• MCIPS Qualification
• 10 years+ experience in a similar fast paced procurement environment
• Extensive experience as a practitioner with confidence and gravitas to engage across the various functional areas and with senior stakeholder
• Experience of ownership of end to end activity (combination of experience and problem solving)
• Familiarity with public sector procurement and tender evaluations
