As Senior Contracts/ Procurement Professional you will: 

• Responsible for leading on a major Contract, Performance and Supplier Management (CPSM) best practice, assurance and associated reporting
• Report directly in to the CPSM Deputy Director
• Lead on contract and supplier management best practice for use across the organisation
• Ensure the programme has the right commercial capability through training and development
• Develop comprehensive contract and supplier assurance and lead on reporting of contract and supplier performance (internal and external)
• Manage key relationships for all contract and supplier management across internal and external stakeholders including wider health family and the Government Commercial Function

You’ll be/ have:

• Strong commercial skills, including upskilling team capability within public or private sector
• Contract management at a senior level
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Proven track record of assessing and managing commercial risk
• High level of competency in Senior Stakeholder Management
• Team Leadership
• Strong Communication and Influencing Skills

It would also be good if you had:

• Government Experience
• Public Sector Procurement Experience
• Delivering Training in a commercial environment
• Commercial Assurance
