Job description

We are currently creating a pipeline for Change Manager roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Change Manager, you will: 

  • Develop a SIAM aligned Change management process, including process design, implementation, operation and Continual Service Improvement (CSI) according to industry best practice
  • Oversee all day-to-day change management activities, ensuring all changes are logged, reviewed, approved, scheduled, evaluated and closed according to documented and agreed procedures
  • Organise and chair the IT Change Advisory/Review Board (CAB/eCAB/CRB) meetings. Agenda and minute meetings and ensure decisions of change authorities are communicated to affected parties and captured within the relevant Service Management (SM) tooling
  • Publish and proactively maintain the IT Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) incorporating all IT changes, key operational changes and working with the Customer Community and the Global Operations Security Control Centre (GOSCC) to plan service outages ensuring all change related information is available to relevant stakeholders when needed
  • Develop and support the underpinning procedures, Local Work Instructions (LWI)s and integration of tooling for the change process.

 

You’ll have:

  • Valid and active SC Clearance
  • ITIL v3 foundation certified, ideally holding several ITIL intermediate certificates
  • A passion for ITIL best practice, with an excellent understanding of Change Management
  • Enterprise understanding of IT Change Management with at least 3 years' experience in a related and dedicated ITSM role
  • Previous exposure to implementing and configuring ITSM toolsets with a clear understanding of how tools should be used to support change management process activities
  • Significant experience of designing, implementing, managing and improving Change Management processes in a complex, mission critical environment.


It would be great to also have:

  • Understanding of Military deployable CIS, preferably with experience of working on multi-mission domains
  • Experience of deployed Operational Service Management, preferably in a military environment
  • Private industry experience of ITSM end to end roll out
