Environmental Advisor

 Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6- month could be extended.

Contracting Authority: NDA

Location: Hybrid 2-3 days a week travel in: Motherwell, Carlisle, Warrington, or Crewe will be out at site locations,
inspections, travel expenses covered.

Travel to the three key location is required at least once a month to each location, which would be Motherwell, Crewe, and Carlisle. These can be done in a day; all locations are short taxi journeys or walk from a main train station.

Travel to an outer reaching location is required at most once a quarter, such as Inverness, Daventry, Tilbury.

Travel may require overnight staying in some instances, which would be covered by NTS.

Travel will be by either public transport (rail) or by car as best fits the task, location, and individual’s needs.

As an Environmental Advisor your main responsibilities will be: 

• Supporting the development and review of SSOW to ensure they meet industry safety standards.?
• Conducting in-house training sessions on environmental awareness
• Lead or support incident investigations ensure that all reports critical review the incidents.
• Conduct auditing to ensure compliance is being met by NTS staff and Contractors to required company and legal standards.
• Assist the H&S Manager in the continued improvement.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Environmental experience in industrial or construction industry

• As generalist in environmental legislations
• Conducting audits ISO 4001
• Environmental qualification or equivalent experience

• Inspections
• Audits
• Development procedure.
• Nature Noise Waste

• Essential requirements.
