Duty Analyst x 4 (Inside IR35)

As
Duty Analyst you will: 

  • Conduct analysis for a Daily Situation Report, identifying issues with the data and ensuring information is fed back to operators
  • Manage any further analysis requests, being a point of contact between the Department and any wider analysis work conducted outside the organisation
  • Provide support and advice to the Ops Lead and Head of Department on the data analysis for the Daily Situation Report
  • Report to the Core Analyst who will then report to the head of Department and support Contract Managers with analysis
  • Produce the 9 day forward look report and end of month report and statements
  • Provide a suite of data graphs for inclusion in the Daily Situation Report or as evidential response to queries
  • Prepare (in conjunction with core analyst) the weekly pricing report
  • Be prepared to work shifts (including weekends)

 

You’ll have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in in a numerate discipline such as computer science, maths, accounting etc. or equivalent experience demonstrating that level of applied knowledge
  • Experience and demonstrable strong excel and analytical capability
  • A highly numerate approach, and be analytical and technically skilled
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint
  • A passion for data manipulation and finding trends in data
  • An understanding of best practice data visualisation principles
  • Good communication skills, and be confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders across all levels including Senior Management
  • Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering and working with wider business stakeholders to produce a scope of work for analysis projects
  • Confidence and work as a collaborative worker
  • High motivation working as a self-starter
  • A willing and flexible attitude as shift work and weekend work will be required for the role



It would be great to also have:

  • Experience of working in central government
  • Previous experience working in the freight/logistics/transport sector
