We are currently creating a pipeline for Product Assurance Support Officer roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Product Assurance Support Officer, you will: 

  • Ensure robust, consistent and standardized transparent procedures are followed for product evaluation and quality assurance (non-clinical)
  • Support Clinical Assurance Specialists in their role, offering input to the assurance of the clinical product range
  • Ensure appropriate feedback is reported to the senior management team to support the Intelligent Client Coordinator (ICC) with strategy sign off for each contract holder
  • Use early warnings indicators to proactively manage risk factors to ensure the Clinical and Product agenda is a priority within the service provider towers and across the NHS
  • Grow and establish relationships with the service provider towers ensuring effective communication through two-way feedback
  • Provide expertise, knowledge and advice of best practice methodologies, regulatory requirements, policy imperatives, innovation and technological developments including utilizing stakeholder knowledge and feedback as necessary
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and its amendments

You’ll have:

  • A strong understanding of the SCCL operating model, and relationship to our key strategic partners
  • An understanding of product and service procurement, ideally in the NHS Knowledge of relevant specialist areas such as procurement, governance, quality assurance and commissioning
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of managing a complex workload, working to tight deadlines
  • Report writing and ability to present complex information
  • Ability to review documentation against an assurance framework to ensure that it meets the required standard, and provide detailed feedback
