Service Management Analyst (Inside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for a Service Management Analyst for a Government Organisation

As a Service Management Analyst, you will;

  • Work closely with other members of the wider Operations team to ensure that business and IT activities are undertaken to successfully delivery our IT and Products and services.
  • Be responsible for onboarding and release management activities, ensuring that suppliers and business processes are aligned, fit for purpose and correctly assured.
  • Be responsible to ensure, in a timely provision, all relevant information is given to suppliers to enable a quick and seamless integration with our services. 
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams where further engagement is required in order to progress any blockers to onboarding be that governance or operational aspects.
  • Provide customer support to respond to requests regarding the services covered by the team.
  • Engage with multiple teams in order to run live beta/first of type assurance activity for services managed within the team.

 

You will have experience in;

  • Service level management

Monitors service delivery performance metrics and liaises with managers and customers to ensure that service level agreements are not breached without the stakeholders being given the opportunity of planning for a deterioration in service.

  • Incident management

Following agreed procedures, identifies, registers and categories incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate. Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken.

  • Problem management

Investigates problems in systems, processes and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

 

  • Supplier management

Assists in the collection and reporting on supplier performance data. Assists with the routine day-to-day communication between the organisation and suppliers.

  • Application support

Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications. Assists with specified maintenance procedures.
