We are currently creating a pipeline for Senior Digital Java Developer roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Senior Digital Java Developer, you will: 

• Be responsible for the delivery of a new counter-fraud case-working system for HMPO’s Public Protection Directorate, working as part of an existing, multi-skilled Agile delivery team
• Write testable and maintainable code
• Participate in backlog refinement and estimation process
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
• Participate in peer review process
• Contribute to the version control process and Git repository usage, deployment process and bug fixes

You’ll have:

• Valid and active SC Clearance
• Experience in a similar role
• Specialist skills and/or knowledge on: Java 8+
  Spring Boot with DI and AOP
  JUnit, Mockito
  Postgres DB with SQL, PL/SQL
  Elastic Search with indexing and querying
  ActiveMQ
  ReST and SOAP
  Micro Services
  Docker
  Kubernetes
  git
  Jenkins pipeline
  UX based OS
  SCRUM
