Interim Assistant Director for performance quality and improvement
Inside IR35
Contract Term: End of July 2024
Contracting Authority: RBWM
Location: Maidenhead Townhall min 2 days per week
RBWM is seeking an experienced ASC professional to join the interim leadership team through to this summer while a permanent recruitment is underway. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director of Adult Services, Health and Communities and be part of the management team for adult social care, working closely with the Interim Operational AD and the Director of Commissioning. Other peers include the Director of Public Health and Strategic Lead for Communities.
As an Interim Assistant Director for Performance Quality and Improvement your main responsibilities will be:
To plan and drive the work required to deliver the 2024/25 statutory data returns for RBWM, including recommending their accuracy for submission.
Working with the ASC management team to establish the rhythm of the Quality Assurance Framework across the range of services managed by the team.
To support the team implementing our new version of Mosaic, migrating from PARIS, with a remit to lead the development of the reporting, management information and statutory return elements of the project.
To support the Executive Director with the operation of the Directorate transformation programme, supporting the corporately assigned project manager(s), including representation at the quarterly performance, finance, and risk Board (AD level across the Council)
To support the team to establish the necessary case file information required by CQC inspectors, including managing the Assurance and Policy officer.
Day to day management of the system team which runs the current case management platform, and the Policy and Assurance officer.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
Care Quality Commission inspections and assurance frameworks
Adult Social Care operational management
Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF) performance
