Finance Operations Manager – Inside IR35

As a
Finance Operations Manager , you will: 

  • Work closely with colleagues at all levels within the RWM business, and engages with NDA Group Finance and Internal Audit
  • Work with external contacts including external audit, HMRC, the payroll provider, the finance functions of supply chain organisations, and other stakeholders including the European Commission and representatives of potential GDF host communities
  • Manage and operate the RWM finance systems (purchase and sales ledgers, cashbook)
  • Be Responsible for the management and operation of the RWM bank accounts
  • Be Responsible (with Human Resources) for the reconciliation of the monthly payroll
  • Manage the monthly and year end accounting closure process
  • Be the Financial Signatory for EC collaborative projects
  • Be Responsible for submission of tax returns and Office of National Statistics data submissions
  • Provide ad hoc advice to RWM staff on expense claims, VAT and personal tax matters
  • Manage the financial operations team

 

You’ll have:

  • AAT Qualification
  • CIMA
  • 5+years experience in accounts receivable role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage time to meet external and internal deadlines, diplomatic, good communication skills, tact and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required as post holder will be expected to communicate with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Leadership, team working and motivational skills

 

It would be great to also have:

  • Experience with Sage 1000
